Is React Compiler ready to adopt? Start with the problem it solves

React Compiler has an obvious appeal: if the compiler can automate some memoization, components need fewer useMemo, useCallback, and memo calls.

The important question is not how many lines disappear, but how the compiler changes the way a team reasons about performance.

I would start with a new or non-critical feature, keep performance measurements, and verify that it actually reduces maintenance cost.
